Parnassus in summer.

Greek summer is associated with the sun and sea of the Greek islands. However, our mainland offers multiple selections for those who also enjoy less crowded surroundings, with beautiful clear waters and seaside escapes.

The International Committee on Nature Protection designated twenty beaches in the Parnassus region as Blue Flag beaches in 2013. Amongst them, Itea, Tragana, Hiliadou, Livanates, Kamena Vourla, Galini, are situated not far from Mount Parnassus Project, which makes it an ideal spot for your summer excursions. Within 30 to 50 minutes you find yourself from the tranquillity of the mountain to a captivating beach.

It is important to note that the ‘Blue Flag’ that is awarded to many of the beaches in the area, is an international symbol for quality. It is best known as an environmental symbol worldwide that represents beaches and waters that are clean and ideal for swimming and reassures that the natural beauty of the coast is being protected.
